VOLUNTEERS ARE (ALWAYS) NEEDED....  Please check out our volunteer pages. There are many, many opportunities. We have many positions that we need help with which are detailed on our volunteer pages. Any help that you can provide is deeply appreciated and needed.

We rely on private party donations for day-to-day operations at the shelter. (We are NOT subsidized by the city, or by any other gov't agency.) If you would like to donate, you may send a tax-deductible contribution to the shelter. Your help is greatly appreciated by us and the animals. Thank you! 

Cats were updated May 17th. Dogs were updated May 13th with thanks to Lorraine. Please come in and look at everyone; you may be surprised who is the best fit for you and your family. Talk to the technicians about lifestyles and personalities. The cute puppy or kitten may take more time and care than you can handle (although we have cute kittens!). Take a close look at adult dogs and cats. They make wonderful companions without the mess. Take an extra look at black dogs as they are often overlooked when it comes to adoption.
