Complaints and the names of complainants directed to our Animal Control & Humane Investigations ( ACHI ) Department are kept confidential at ALL times. You may contact us during office hours and speak to an Animal Control Officer or email us at the email address below. PLEASE do not email if it is an emergency that can NOT wait until normal business hours.
As in all criminal cases, the proper evidence and witnesses are required to successfully build a case for seizure and/or prosecution. When calling us to file a complaint or concern, please have the following information available. Please remember that all information given to us will be kept confidential.
1. Location of the complaint ( address )
2. Dates you witnessed
3. A brief and specific account of the facts and what was involved
4. Your name, daytime and evening phone number. We need this to follow up with you and/or for future information. This information is kept confidential and ONLY used by the Officers of the Animal Control & Humane Investigations Department.
The ACHI Department’s normal business hours are from 10am – 6pm Monday – Friday. However, our officers are on call 24 / 7 and are available for emergencies or calls that can not wait for normal business hours.
